I introduced my daughter to gratitude, manifesting, and how to give and receive compliments; here are the changes we are experiencing. Before introducing these topics, we had snarky banter back and forth, and it was exhausting. So we committed to discussing these three topics each morning.

  1. Things we are grateful for (gratitude).
  2. Things we are hopeful for (manifesting).
  3. Things we appreciate or like about each other (compliments).

The first couple of weeks were challenging, but we stayed the course, and here are our results.

  1. My daughter is the first to share each day- no more snarky banter.
  2. We are sharing our gratitude, basic necessities, or small things that go unnoticed.
  3. We are dreaming bigger, and hoping for things that are seldom shared.
  4. Sharing and receiving compliments from each other has a significant impact on our self-esteem.

Overall, this 10-minutes activity is improving our relationship and our outlook on life.
